Welcome back to Filming Hawaii! Today we have posted a GoPro Hero3 with Storm Drone Compilation Test. After numerous attempt to get Jello free footage from the Top Mounted GoPro Mount on a Storm Drone, I decided to try it from the bottom and mounted to a DIY anti vibration Landing Gear platform that I ordered through eBay. I also attached between the landing gear plate and the GoPro Mount, Silicone Dampers that I purchased from Infinity Hobby dot com. Footage comes out spectacular if there is little to no wind. In higher wind situations there is a slight jello effect caused by crosswinds and turbulent movements. However, the overall footage seems to be clean and jello free for the most part. Enjoy the test that we do on the Storm Drone. Thanks for watching and please do subscribe.
Our next project coming soon is a HT FPV Quadcopter with an extra top plate designed to work like a QAV-500. It will feature 6 Dampers separating the Arms from the top Plate. Hopefully this will provide a smooth and stable non vibration flight that will result in crystal clear aerial footage and photos. It will be decently tricked out with Naza M, GPS, 1.3 Ghz FPV System, E-Props and a GoPro Hero3 Black Edition. Coming soon, stay tuned…=)
